About The Event
This summer we will be heading to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Wrestling Team Wrestling Camp!
Grade: 8th-12th
We will leave on June 27th and stay overnight at a wrestling club in New Jersey before heading to Rutgers on June 28th for the start of camp. Camp will run through July 1st, when we will travel back home.
Throughout the camp, wrestlers will participate in technique sessions, live wrestling, and a large amount of matches against teams from different areas. We will have a dual team representing C2X, and any extra wrestlers will be placed on other New Jersey teams to make sure everyone gets plenty of matches.
In previous years, wrestlers averaged anywhere from 8–20 matches throughout the camp experience.
Transportation will be available for wrestlers who need it, or families are welcome to drive up themselves if preferred.
Wrestlers will stay in the dorms and eat the university’s cafeteria.
This is always a great opportunity for high-level competition, learning, team bonding, and getting a lot of mat time over a few days.
